The SpeedTouch 120 Wireless USB Adaptor
The SpeedTouch 120 Wireless USB Adapter provides high speed
(11Mb/s) wireless Internet access and networking for USB enabled
desktops anywhere, anytime. The USB Adapter connects directly to the
desktop and is easy to install. The access point simply sends the
radio signals to the USB Adapter. The USB Adapter receives them and
transmits the signals to the desktop PC via the USB connector. Thus
providing high speed wireless Internet access and networking.
Depending on the nature of surrounding structures, the USB
Adapter provides a wireless range of 150m at 11 Mb/s. For
connections over longer distances, three automatic fall-back rates
(5.5, 2 and 1 Mb/s) provide improved range. The SpeedTouch 120
client supports wired equivalent privacy (WEP), using a 64 or
128-bit key. Supported operating systems:
